What this service is
Dividvo is software for the owner-directors of UK limited companies. We are the vendor: you buy the subscription from Ellul Solutions Ltd directly, and there is no third party between us. We introduce you to nobody, we sell your details to nobody, and we take no commission from anyone for sending you anywhere. The free tax worksheets on this site, and the paid workspace that keeps the figures, dividends, vouchers and dates you save, are the whole of the service. It is not an accountant, a tax adviser, a payroll, a filing service or a formation agent, it files nothing with HMRC or Companies House, and it does not tell you what your company should pay you. We aim to keep the service available at all times and to keep your data recoverable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
How we are paid
You pay us, and that is the whole of how this business is funded: a monthly subscription to Dividvo Pro, sold to businesses by Ellul Solutions Ltd, which is the legal entity you contract with and the name that appears on your card statement and your receipt. Nothing on this site is an advertisement we are paid for, and no figure or recommendation here is influenced by a commission, because there is none. Price, renewal date and cancellation route are shown before you pay and stated again in your account.
Online payments. When you connect your own Stripe account and take a payment through a pay link, Dividvo charges a platform fee of 1% of that payment, in addition to Stripe's own processing fee. Stripe deducts both from the payment before it is paid out to you; Dividvo never holds your customers' money. The rate that applies is the one shown in your account on the day the pay link is created, and a change to it applies only to links created afterwards.
The free tools
The free tax worksheets on this site are provided as working tools for the directors of UK limited companies. Their output is arithmetic on the figures you enter, at the rates and thresholds published by HMRC on the dates cited. They do not replace your company's own accounts, a return prepared and checked for your accounting period, advice from an accountant or tax adviser on your circumstances, or your own judgement about the company.
No warranty
The tools are provided as they are, without warranty. We do not warrant that a figure produced here matches what HMRC will assess for your company, that a rate has not changed since the date cited, or that a worksheet covers your circumstances; that is yours and your adviser's to check, and the arithmetic is only as good as the numbers you put in.
